About ten years ago I started to see that scrapbooking was becoming a big hobby, but I didn't feel like it was a hobby I would be interested in. My sister gave my mom a scrapbook starter kit, and Mom fell in love with it as I knew she would - only now she wanted me to do it too. That's when I discovered pocket scrapbooking which is a hybrid between pocket photo albums and regular scrapbooking. Now this I loved. I took to pocket scrapbooking like a duck takes to water, and I still love it.
Then about six years ago my mom introduced me to digital scrapbooking. This is where you add your photos to a digital book along with background papers, embellishments, and journalling. Once everything is just as you want it you can have this digital book printed into a hard copy that you and your family can love and enjoy.
A couple of years ago I started to notice that while there are lots of picture being taken by families, relatively few of these are printed in any form at all, and this made me sad. You see, some of my children's favourite books are those where they and their family are the main characters. They love to look at the scrapbooks I've created, and I want to bring this joy to other families. I want to take your child's pictures and put them into a book that they can hold and enjoy and where they can relive wonderful memories.
